This EasyWay’s event is organised by Expert and Studies Groups of EasyWay under the coordination of ESG ICT.
The workshop is hosted by Ithaca/EasyWay together with Politehnica University of Bucharest under the aegis of Romanian Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and Municipality of Bucharest.

The main objective of EasyWay, in terms of continuity, is to create a continuous ITS environment on TERN network to provide the same level of ITS services in Europe. For this objective is important to collect information from all core European ITS services and to disseminate the best practices and case studies oriented on continuity of these services, not only when moving from country or region to another, but also between urban and interurban areas and between service providers.

This workshop will collect and disseminate the relevant results and information to facilitate efforts towards continuity in deploying the core European ITS systems. The work during this event combines the expertise of the different expert and study groups from EasyWay and also the experience of participants to find solutions and best practices for future deployment of ITS in a continuous manner Europe. A new instrument of this workshop is to use a case study for every session to demonstrate, during the discussion, the relevance of the proposed solutions in real cases.

This letter of invitation is for papers related with this topic but also this is a call for case studies (application of solutions and best practices on real case). Our first proposal is to use Romania and Romanian road network as the cases’ deployment environment to demonstrate the applicability of identified solutions and best practices.
